Welcome to the wonderful world of SLUSH:1999! If it's Tony/Maya romance you're after, this is THE story for you. Gaia supplies all those little romantic details that we'd speculated about but never actually got to see on the show. Of course, as the storyline leads into crossovers, alternative universe and general realms of fantasy, anything can happen - and does. Every idyllic, sentimental, passionate and dramatic T/M scenario you've ever dreamed of has been packed into this and amazingly, it all works! This 'epic' story is beautifully and intelligently written throughout. It's one of those rare pieces of fan fiction that is so descriptive as to make you believe you've actually 'seen' it. I am eagerly awaiting Gaia's next offering.

Love this story! Everything a die-hard Tony/Maya junkie could ask for. Gaia is an excellent writer, and like Krato, I can't wait for more.

I read this wonderful book in one sitting! Couldn't get enough of it. Has to be the best T/M story I have ever seen. Always found it odd that the series skipped over so much of the personal stuff between them and how they had her completely assimilated into Alphan Society by the second or third episode. This story fills in so much of the gaps and logically too for that matter. I would love to see more of Gaia's writing, she has a great grasp of the people.

The author might excuse it as "slush", but at least it's very well-written slush! She manages to combine romance and eroticism while capturing the humour that was always at the heart of the Tony/Maya relationship. It's a shame she hasn't written anything since then, as I'd hope there are more sweet stories where this one came from...

I don't think it could get any better than this. The author has captured the characters perfectly and made them so likeable it's hard to get away from this story for one moment. Thank you so much for sharing.
